Independence builds confidence! Children want to show that they can do things themselves, and hate to wait for someone to come and help them, especially if it means it is stopping them from going off to play with a friend. During these times, with social distancing continuing in school, it is also important that children are more able to do things for themselves, without the need of an adult. Is your child confident to do these things independently?
