A Message from the Head Teacher

Welcome to our school. My name is Julie White and I feel extremely privileged to be leading Squirrels Heath Infant School as the Head Teacher. We are all extremely proud of our school, pupils and community and are always keen to welcome new squirrels!

It is an exciting time to be part of the Squirrel's community as due to my impending retirement in September 2025, Squirrels Heath Infant and Junior school are in a process of consultation to amalgamate from 1st September 2025. The proposal is attached below.

Our School Vision

Squirrels Heath Infant School is a happy and caring community where all are valued and supported to be the best they can be.

We promote a love of learning, develop creative thinking and recognise the interests of our pupils through high quality learning experiences carefully tailored to meet each unique child.

Our pupils leave us as confident, independent and passionate learners well prepared for success at school and beyond.

Our pupils are enthusiastic about learning and we are passionate about making a difference to their lives. Our dedicated and highly skilled team work hard to provide the best possible opportunities for all of our children to aim high and achieve their full potential. We seek to create learning opportunities that are driven by the interests and passions of the pupils and aim to ensure that each child has access to a wide range of enriching experiences throughout their time with us. It is extremely important that at such a young age children are provided with opportunities to grow and flourish in a style of learning that reflects their age and stage of development.

If you are a new parent, considering sending your child to our school,  we hope that this website gives you an insight into our work and values. We recommend that you make an appointment to visit the school prior to making an application so that you can experience the school in action. If you are an existing parent, this website aims to strengthen home-school links by providing you with relevant information about the school and events and also to provide support and advice.

This website is in the process of review and change to provide a better experience for it's users. I hope that you locate the information your require on this visit and watch this space for a new look coming later this term. In the meantime, please feel free to contact the school directly with any queries or questions.

We look forward to seeing you soon,

Julie White
